Nanny Courses

Nurture Training College is a company within a larger organisation, Placement Solutions – which is a Labour Hire recruitment agency for Nannies across Victoria in business for 28 years with the same owner and operator and a leader in its field. The specialised training courses are unique to Nurture Training College as these are designed to up-skill Nannies (also known as in home child carers or educators) and provide accredited qualifications tailored to Nanny industry but not precluding students from other Childcare work. There are also currently many other unique short courses tailored to the Nanny industry in the pipeline.


The Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC50113)

This course is designed to empower our students to reach new heights in their personal and professional lives, nurturing them with the tools, training and confidence they need to be responsible for the planning and implementation of quality programs for children to best meet their developmental needs. There is no better time to be entering the field of childcare work. There are staff shortages and the Australian Government is subsidising the childcare industry. With this qualification you’ll be entering a rewarding industry that provides education and care to children during their most influential years.

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30113)

Available from June 2016 onward, this qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of early childhood education settings who work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard.

You will support the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children’s well-being, learning and development. Depending on the setting,  educators may work under direct supervision or autonomously.

Newborn Care Training

In this course, you will learn all about green proofing your nursery, the care and appearance of the newborn baby, typical and atypical conditions (from diaper rash to torticollis and everything in between), feeding information, working with post-partum moms, liability concerns, sleep conditioning, and so much more!

This course offers the Nanny the opportunity to learn all the ins and outs of providing outstanding care to the newborn baby.

Child Protection Training

Child Protection Training is an innovative and unique training that aims to provide greater awareness and understanding of child abuse. Adapted from award-winning programs, and supplemented by evidence from national and international research, Child Protection Training focuses on how to prevent, recognise and respond to instances of child abuse. IMPORTANT – recent changes in Victorian law now states that ALL child care workers must report any alleged/suspected child abuse.
